Question: What is the general message of “The Hand” and “Wishing Rock” sculpture?

God’s answer:

Answered prayer
I know what you need.

Meaning: These two sculptures are about getting our prayers answered. If we turn to God and depend on Him for everything, we will get everything that we need. It’s not about getting what one wants, for what we want may not be what we need, but trusting that God knows and shall provide us with what we need.

Question: If you know what we need, why do we need to pray? Why don’t you just give it to us?

God’s answer:

You will never learn to depend on Me.

This is the same answer God gave when I asked him, Why should we pray.
